I love Cash Cab and would love to be a contestant. The only problem is that I live in Las Vegas and not New York. I probably won't be going to New York any time soon so what's the possibility of having cabs with the game show in other cities? Las Vegas would be perfect for the game since traffic is so slow most days on Las Vegas Blvd (aka The Strip) that the driver/host would have plenty of time to ask questions.

Also, I've been to NYC and while the traffic here in LV is not totally tame, it's way safer than the mess I saw in New York. You'd get lots of exposure for the Discovery Channel and the game show in general since there are tourists from around the world who come here. Besides that, lots of locals go to the strip sometimes too. The strip would give the camera crew a new background to film that's more colorful and varied than the skyscrapers of Manhattan. You could probably get a lot of local advertisers to help out too. I'm sure the casinos would love to have someone who just won a bunch of money from Cash Cab come into their place since they'd probably gamble at least some of it. You'd get some interesting contestants too. People of every walk of life come here to live or visit and there are some really different cats here too Smile

Give it some thought and I think you'll see Las Vegas would be a great location for the show.

It would be nice to see "Cash Cab" in other cities too! I live in central Missouri. No taxis to speak of out here in the woods (ha). Please don't forget the Midwest. i.e. Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicargo, Memphis, etc.

I've watched many Wheel of Fortune shows that were filmed in other cities, and I've even experienced being in the audience of a Jeopardy! show taped at Univ. of California Berkeley. A change of scenery/people every so often would be refreshing to all involved, and it would also give your fans across the nation an opportunity to be a contestant (unknowingly, of course!).

I posted my idea in another section, but I will re-post it here...
Ben travels when he does his comedy shows... just have him do Cash Cab in whatever city he is in.
Or--- Ben is awesome, but do several versions of the show with different hosts in different cities. Sort of like CSI-- Cash Cab:LA, Cash CabBig Grinallas, Cash Cab: :Las Vegas. But keep Ben's show being the best and original.

Or do a traveling Cash Cab that drives acrsoss the country doing a different city every day. The only problem is permits for the cab.

It would be cool to see Cash Cab in downtown Portland, Oregon it's huge there and has many districts like New York City , but there is a lot of public buses than cabs, it would be funny to see a cash bus instead of a cash cab.

I think Vegas is a great idea. How about SF? That would be fun and I might have a chance.
