Hey fellow Cash Cab fans, just thought I'd drop my 2 cents in (and I haven't read any of this forum so it probably has already been said). 1. Obviously, drive the Cash Cab around other cities! Beautiful San Francisco, California to be specific 2. I think that if the person who gets picked for the street shoutout gets the question correct they should get a little reward, say $100 ? If they get the question wrong or can't answer it they don't get anything. It wouldn't cost the show that much money and would hook more people up with that cold hard cash! I know that if I was in the cash cab, and my streetshout person anwered a question I didn't know, I would give them a tip and that should be the show's job That's it. Let me know what you think

I am sure that the production team doesn't want to do all the tax and ID paperwork for shout out help and send another check in the mail as Cash Cab does not hand out cold hard cash as the show gives the illusion that it does. The people that play have to spend 15 min filling paperwork out before playing and get the money as a check in the mail. The cash is not real used in the cab.

WOW!! I never knew that. I always figured that the show wasn't as spontaneous as it seems, but I never knew if I was right. I would be seriously put out if I had to wait 15 minutes just to play a game show that doubles as a mode of transportation. I mean, I might have somewhere important to get to on time. I'd either have to waste my time signing papers or take the extra time to flag down another cab.

I'd like to see a reference to where you got the information about people knowing before hand they would play and filling out paperwork before hand. I too have always wondered if the show was as spontaneous as it is edited to appear to be. But in deference to the end of show disclaimer stating that while there is interviewing of some potential contestants, 'at no time were contestants aware they were on a game show prior to entering the cab', I can't accept a contrary statement without a bit of evidence to support it.
