... this show moved on?
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a fun show and I think the host is superb, but I'm just tired of a game show on the Discovery Channel.
My reason for this thinking is this: you're not learning all that much. When I watch this channel, I expect to "discover" something. Sure, if you don't know the answer you might learn that, but the lack of depth simply doesn't fit the channel.
I'm also very disappointed that the only location for the show is New York. After the first fifty or so contestants, you just get bored and flip to another channel when it comes on.

I think it still has some staying power. I do agree that spreading it out might do something but New York is the Cabbie Capital of anywhere. Where else is it better to take a cab than own a vehicle? In most other Urban locations, cabbies are called or only wait at airports and hotels. In New York you can step out to the curb and one will be by within seconds. And besides, New York gets plenty of tourists so you get a good share of folks from all over on the show.
Speaking of the people, I enjoy studying the characters. Their answers and mannerisms say a lot about them. For New Yorkers who walk by all these people all the time it's nothing. But for many who don't have such exposure this is a wonderful source for discovery of people.
There are the eclectic groups of folks who can get through with maybe one strike and $2,000+ and not figure out that between all of them, they're very likely to get the double-or-nothing. Then there's the one guy who barely makes it to his destination with $500 and two stikes and goes for the Video Bonus and scores.
Beats any game show ever.
