alright, here's the thing: ben bailey is downright hilarious. one thing i've always agreed with is that the host of a show can make it worth watching, or can make it completely ridiculous.

good examples: bear grylls, ben bailey, adam savage, and mike rowe. they're all cool as hell, and their shows are sweet.

but, when you take a dumb host and stick him on a show, it ruins it, even if it had the possibility of being sweet.

for example: future weapons. that could have been a cool show... weapon technology is interesting, and explosions are geil. but host is a grody, pompous, arrogant douche bag, and therefore, i never watch it.

same with some other ones, which i think might have been cancelled... smash lab, some assembly required, and build it bigger.

on another note... i saw an episode of cash cab a few weeks ago... ben bailey had me rolling through the entire segment. i remember the riders' names were ike and gabe. hysterical.

(this is basically just a praise be to ben bailey forum post: he's the dog's bullocks).
