I saw a show on discovery channel about how they plan on disipating or rerouting hurricanes and I've had a general inquirey about this topic for some time now. In general it would be great if thousands of peoples lives could be spared because of this, I'm not against it for that reason, but if humans were to step in and start doing this for all hurricanes, would the effects not be total chaos as far as global warming goes?
To my knowledge, hurricanes are a natural cooling cycle for the earth,so by defering or disipating the hurricanes, in the long run would't we actually be helping global warming increase?
