There are concept cars that get high MPG but would you buy a one or two seater car? Some of these cars have only 3 wheels. Mercedes came out with the Bionic concept car that looks like a fish. Who would buy it even though it gets up to 80 MPG?
Um i think that its a great idea for your "concept car" but what about those people who pull trailers or work in construction and need to store massive heavy objects into thier car/truck. People that support "concept cars" call those people with trucks just needlessly driving their cars that get 8-15mpg. Now if they can get a "concept car" to pull 10,000 pounds of trailer and things then ill buy one. But until they come up with one, i'm not getting one. And on a side note i dont think we should change the american way and move over to all "concept cars".
