Greenhouse gases include in the order of relative abundance water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone.

Nuclear power plants use the heat generated from nuclear fission in a contained environment to convert water to steam.

Nuclear plants do produce a lot of waste heat.
Global Warming

Either way you look at it Nuclear power contributes to Greenhouse gas and Global warming.

It's obvious when people have never worked at a nuclear power plant. I've worked at two. Con-Ed Indian Point. When you say that nuclear power plants generate greenhouse gases you must be talking about the cars in the parking lot. If any gas is released from the power plant it is us carbon units or minor steam from the non nuc side. Do no say nuclear plants emit greenhouse gases without giving exact details, sources and causes.
PS: The FEMA link does not have the words greenhouse or state how they contribute to GHG.

Interesting that you say Nuclear power isn't a solution to the theory of AGW. Because the UN's climate experts, IPCC, was originally created by Magret Thatcher to help her motivate more nuclear power plants after Harrisburg. She had problem with sheiks (who stopped pumping oil when it pleased them) and english coal miners who were on strike all the time. IPCC only gave funding to all scientific research saying bad things about coal and oil.

Also as you point out water vapor is a major (97%) contributor to GW. With that thought in mind what is going to happen if we get a bunch of cars running on Hydrogen spitting water out of the tail pipe?
