My son, home "sick", was just watching the green anole episode...which is great, except...the word is pronounced "an-ohl", not "an-ohl-ee." He was getting very tickled, b/c it sounds like canoli! I guess it's too late to go back and edit that episode, but it sort of cuts into the credibility factor....

For the most part, I enjoy this show! Smile

Thanks for watching! Actually, both pronunciations are accepted. Check out the pronunciation from the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

I grew up saying "uh-NOLE-ee" so that's how we chose to say it in that episode. Although the other pronunciation ("uh-NOLL" or "an-OLE") is probably more widely used, it's true.

PLEASE HELP ME!!! MY PET GREEN ANOLE ESCAPED! AT LEAST I THINK SHE DID, ITS KINDA HARD TO TELL, BUT NORMALLY I CAN FIND HER AND I CAN'T NOW! I MOVED THINGS AROUND IN HER TANK, AND SHE'S NO WHERE! WHAT SHOULD I DO???? PLEASE HELP ME FIND HER! Eek
