Sophie was tending to the pups when the snake went in the burrow, and you know she could here the noise that was coming from outside when Flower and the group was mobbing at the snake?? Also where was Spud he was the other babysitter in the burrow I have also read that due to poor foraging conditions, disease and predation and with the predation of Mozart the Starsky's were last seen in April of 2007 and are now a lost group Poor Mozart we not only lost our beloved Flower but her sweet and caring daughter who took care of everyone in the manor when she was there. The whole thing is just a tragedy, first Shakesphear then our Flower and Mozart we have watched them from the start and loved them all the way to the end. You can find more information about the groups at the Kalahari Meerkat Project, Rest in peace our beloved little friends. (Biloxi, Mississippi)
Mozart is dead too! Mozart was rhe most caring like Flower and now both are lost forever, but I believe they are leading their families in the great Kalahari Sky
I could not agree more!! But I still wonder what happen to Sophie and Spud?? When the camera showed the cobra going in to the burrow, it also showed Sophie asleep with the pups
I wonder too? But Flower's one pup Liz came up but I didnt see any others so I'm really worried. Sophie is all we really have left of Mozart's care. Like the one time she saved Izzie I knew she was special. I hope she and her brother are okay

I don't know of Mozart being killed I think she formed another group. I hope so because she will make a wonderful mother if ever she gets to keep her pups. I think we will find out what happened to the rest of the group this Friday. I always watch each episode twice but can't bring myself to watch the last one where Flower was killed. I am still too heart broken. Sad though it is there are other Meerkats groups in the Kalahari all trying to do the same thing as Flower. They too are fighting for survival. TTFN Eileen
they are fine. sophie and spud are alive thanks to flower. poor poor flower. so are all the pups. i know because at the end liz a pup comes out of the burrow 'as liz takes her first faltering steps out of the burrow, into the light flowers legend lives on" it would have said if something happened to them. if they got bit, like flower, they would have com out of the burrow.it was that last act that made her who she really was. that revealed courage, strapping out in an act of fatality, was so honerable, it devistated. she laid her life on the line for her pups and that king of an act can never be forgotten. her courage saved her pups. such a meerkat is not measured in one single act. she saved her lasting legacy, and thats wat truly matters.had she not been so so very honarable, she would not be remembered oh so greatly. that act of hers, touched the heart of so many. she is honored in a way that is not to be forgotten. not ever. everyone loved her honorability so much. r.i.p and light a candle at the scene for the deserts favorite rose, flower queen of the meerkats. savior of the manor.
