It is so sad to see Hannibal knowing he is gone. I know they are ready to attack the Whiskers, but I am a sucker for all of the meerkats! What will I do next week ?

Oh, no! The Commandoes! They're attacking Rocket Dog's group! I hope Flower comes back in time to save them. Do you think Flower will be angry to see Rocket Dog in charge, and Daisy and Maybelline pregnant?
T____________T Yay, they made it back to each other! And Flower resumes her place upon the throne. Too bad, I wanted to see a butt woopin'. ^_^ Rocket Dog was just too inexperienced...
Though Rocket Dog lost her pup, I have a new found respect for her. She knew well enough that it's Flower's place to lead the Whiskers! Plus, I don't think we need any more Houdini's anyway... It made me happy to see she didn't fight for dominance or get thrown out of the group, though.
Glad to see Mitch get away, too! Lucky meerkat.
As for Daisy and Maybelline... I don't think they're going to be part of the Whiskers for very long, but who knows?
Glad to see raid. I can't wait until Friday for the next adventure.
The Meerkat "Mitch" has been my favorite since the loss of Shakespeare - but even I have to admit that he isn't so great that he was with Rocket Dog's group since the split taking care of the pups and now is all of the sudden with Flower's group in their old territory during the Commandos fight - did anyone else catch that? They did say it was Mitch who was pinned down but got away right?
I am glad they are back together and I am happy that the rains came - they say everything happens for a reason - it was sad that Rocket Dog's pups were born too early and above ground like that - but it probably saved Rocket Dog's life - she may have been evicted when the family reunited if she was still pregnant -
I dread next week and yet I think a lot will happen during next week's episode - this may be why we don't know who or where Daisy is -

Well I just posted my own thread but didn't want to spoil anything...and I got to my computer fast...so someone see's it before 5:30 So. Calif. time...or you have laptops, and you're writing as you're watching...so now I can say what I didn't there...seeing the turtle made me think of the cute episode where the old turtles were at the drinking trough...and then Hannibal ate it...poor RocketDog...a miscarriage...too much pressure...so glad flower got home, and Mitchy got out of his predicament...Newman...a long while ago I think I offended you about elephants...so sorry you took it wrong...I really do appreciate your purple posts!!!!!
I thought RD was preggers BEFORE Flower split the group up? Would Flower of thrown RD out after the reunion knowing she was preggers before the split? I knew RD would not fight for dominance. She did NOT want it to begin with. That poor little ragtag group. They suffered so much. I am glad they are all back together now. Back together but things will never be the same...
Hildy....some people like elephants, and some don't. I do understand that. It is an awful lot like people not understanding our fascination and love of our darling meerkats.
This was a wonderful episode for me. It was reminiscent of Seasons 1 and 2. I realize now what had really been missing from the previous episodes of Season 3 - FLOWER!!! I missed seeing her beautiful face, watching her brave and wise decisions, and well, you know, what can I say that I don't always say - I LOVE HER!
I enjoyed seeing Flower's splinter group venture back into "their" territory (I know it's technically Commando's now) and drinking at the water hole where we saw so many wonderful scenes during Seasons 1 and 2. Flower was so wonderful standing guard while everyone drank and then even though she is the DF she drank last. My heart was beaming tonight.
My only complaint - and I know I'm nitpicking here - is the editing was kind of poor this episode. Maybe they didn't have a lot of footage to work with but half the time they were showing Rocket Dog it was really Flower and when Rocket Dog was miscarrying they showed that same shot of Lola with her head in the sand after the puff adder bite.
Alas, and how in the world could Mitch have been pinned down by one of the Commandos? He's not even in Flower's splinter group! He was "the only one who tried to stay with Len and Squiggy", right?! Either he really gets around or AP thought we wouldn't notice the blunder.
Poor Rocket Dog - it was so heartbreaking to see her premature pups being born in the burning sand. Ironically, it appear this miscarriage may have saved Rocket Dog's life.
Hannibal eating that turtle was intense. Poor turtle but desperate times call for desperate measures. What strong jaws he must have.
The end of the episode was the best. The Whiskers reunited! Yay!! But "one dominant is going to have to hang up her collar." Was there ever any doubt?! Flower *is* the Queen of the Kalahari.
And to bring a tear to my eyes, and a stake through my heart, the final line "In this time of plenty, with order restored, it could be the start of Flower's greatest era."
Heavy sigh, Flower I will love you forever, my desert rose.

How in the world did I miss that in my top Ten? I am embarassed and hope they don't let it pop up now. You are exactly right. When he said that, I asked myself "Was Mitch with that group?" Then thought I just messed it up. This is bad. Yikes!
