Do we know if she was handled properly after she died? In other words, was she buried or left out in the open. If she was left out, I would be VERY "P" ODE.
I heard that Flower was buried in a respectful way. I also heard that she actualy died much earlier this year but Animal Planets producers did not want to say too much about it. As you may know Animal Plant is not involved in the research or with the scientists on the Meerkat project. You may also know that Animal Planet offered to have unmanned cameras positioned at different locations to film what was going on. There is no camera crew. The scientists take out the film when it's full and replace a new film, not sure how often that takes. I know we are all devestated by the death of Flower but we have to look beyond out emotions. Lets all remember Flower as the 'Rose: she was and keep her memory in our hearts. She will be sadly missed. I wonder who will take her place. Sorry to babble on but just needed to talk about this. Thanks for reading. Eileen Florida
Hello, Flower actually passed away at the end of last February. The researchers recovered her body and she is buried in a marked grave. Hope this helps. We all love her and miss her greatly.

The camera's cannot all be unmanned. The close up shots and angles part of the time are cameraman. And during the snake attack the close up and angle shots mean someone was filming it, these were not from camera stills.
If you would have been in on the chat last Friday, they said there is a live camera crew that films the cats. They crawl around on their bellys to get some of those shots.
