In case anyone is interested in getting lipo...I decided to have the procedure done after almost five years of not being able to get rid of the buldge my second child left me with and after viewing all of the plastic surgery shows. I just had to get a tummy tuck. My doctor suggested I get lipo done first. I did and I had my abdomen and hips done. Two days after the surgery I was extremely satisfied with what I had seen (now in my fifth week post op) and have been told I would not see the final results for at least 2-3 months after the procedure. What I really wanted to let you know is what they don't show you on television...I was in a great deal of pain after the surgery and it was the severe bruising, not the incisions. I felt like I had been ran over by a truck a few times. Not to mention the 24-48 hours of draining that comes with it after the surgery. My draining lasted for 24 hours. That was probably the worst part about it. Other than that, I'm extremely satisfied. NOw I just need to work up the courage for the tummy tuck.
