Matt & Jeff, I have a cat that sometimes when startled, will from a standing start, jump straight up about 2-3 ft. in the air and sometimes on landing just stands there, and sometimes takes off at like 30 mi. an hour across the room.
I have seen tiny spiders, about 1/8th inch across, including the legs, that move so fast they almost seem to teleport from one spot to another. The small size may pose a problem, but it sure would be cool to catch exactly what the little guy is doing to move so quickly.
I work in an invertebrate house and we could probably help you get all kinds of the insects/invertebrate footage you might be looking for... Bees, Mantids, Spiders, Spitting Walkingsticks, Crickets, Water Striders, Bombadier Beetles
Think it would be of inerest to show greyhound running at full speed. Only greyhond and chetah run this way. All four feet off ground at same time ywicw in each full stride. Greyhound at 45mph in four strides. Lure courseing the perfect way to film
Dude u guys know how SWEET it would be to see a slow motion bug splat on a windshield!!!!!!!!!! that would be decent P.S I think it would be hard to pull it off but I think you guys can do it
