I need some thoughts on why men get so angry for unexplanable reasons. I live with the man I am engaged to and things are seemingly pretty good - most of the time. Other times, he gets so angry and storms off, curses and doesn't talk for a day or more. I don't understand it. He is usually the kindest, sweetest, good hearted person who will do most anything for me - until something sets him off. Is this abuse, vented anger at ?something? past issues - what should I do. Should I stay or should I go?

This really isn't a "man" issue as both male and females have been guilty of this problem. Every person has their own way of dealing with anger and expressing themselves when they get into a situation where they react to something that just makes them mad. It sounds like your fiance is making you very aware how he handles these types of situations. It is something that he does naturally without thought. So unless he sees this as something he wants to change then be prepared to see him act this way anytime he gets angry.

So you should point out to him that this type of behavior is bad for your relationship and it makes you think twice about marrying a person that will act like this throughout the marriage. If he cares about his relationship with you he will agree that he needs to modify his behavior and agree to change. If he says that's just the way he is and can't change you really need to ask yourself if you are ready to live in a marriage that will be subjected to his wrath evertime he gets mad.
