Just wondering if you have done anything with the sig 556. I was wondering how it will hold up in extreme conditions both land and water. I was in the marines for 6 years with 3rd Lar in 29 palms. I was an 0311 the m-16 gave me all kinds of problems and I have watched your episode on the magpul masada. How does the sig 556 compare?

Hey brother,
Can't speak much for how hollywood is gonna try to spin the SIG, but we've had phenominal results at the stumps...with the exception of heavy sand. My personal opinion is that the tolerances are too tight, but then again I'm an admitted fan of the AK...

Have not run a Sig 556 through any tests but if it like their pistols,it would be a reliable weapon....as a civilian now,I would really love to get my hands on HK's 416...I am a bigger fan of the HK line, would like see to how the piston ejection system holds up against the conventional gas-tube system.
