Can anyone tell me what it means to coarsely chop celery and carrots. Not sure what that means. Also, this recipie calls for the celery and carrots to be the base for what the chicken sits on. Do you put that right on the bottom of your roaster; or on the rack and the chicken on the rack. Not clear. If you can help, please respond. Thanks

Hi there, you just chop up the veggies big chuncks throw in bottom of pot and then set your chicken on top......and it is so yummmy

Thanks so much for the info. I love this show; and my interest in cooking and trying something new has certainly peaked. I love chicken and when I saw him make this recipe; I decided to try it. I'm cooking it tonight. I have no idea how to email the show. Sorry. Yes, I would love for him to come up to me and make his offer; but for some reason; I think his show is in California.
