hey everyone! i am using this recipe from deanna's menu. anyways, i was thinking of making this crumble for my family and i was thinking of changing the plums to apples. my question is what kind of apples would taste best?
My suggestion would be to use Granny Smith apples, they are a firm not to sweet green apple and cook up very well. However, you might want to try the plum too. It's a favorite in England and although may sound a bit strange it is very good.
