I am in the same boat...I wanted to make this over the weekend, not a mail-order because I want to see it and purchase it right then and there, check for frreshness, etc. No one knows of any specialty shops...IN LA?? There has to be. I live in Orange County, but would be willing to go to LA to find/purchase it. I've seen Curtis prepare it in someone's home, and I believe they lived in LA, so they had to be shopping somewhere in LA...H-E-L-P!!!
