ive just found this site and was wondering if anyone can give me any advice on how to get started working in a rescue centre for apes. i live in dorset, very close to MONKEY WORLD ape rescue centre. does anyone know how i would go about getting a job as a keeper. i have no experience working with apes but i have a great love of them. any advice would be gratefully recieved

well, you could go there and ask the manager if you can help out, volounteering. tell him you don't have experience working with ape, but you will start out little by little, one thing at a time.

I can't really give you any advice, but I'd love to work there too! It's been my dream since i was seven! I've not yet managed to visit though because i live in the midlands and it's a long way.
