As a Minnesota native I am writing to take exception to the misnomer that Minnesotans are fashion "don't". Minneapolis is one of the county's top cultural and fashion centers and I think it shows ignorance on the part of the hosts to not recognize that.

I've lived in several other U.S. cities including my current home of the D.C. suburbs and it proves the fact that Minnesotans are a far more sophisticated lot than the country realizes.
