I have two turtles, and in their terrarium I have noticed that everything is covered in itty bitty bugs. I would take a picture, but they are so small and fast I don't know that I could get one. It looks like some fly a little, and the rest of the bugs just scurry around. They seem to enjoy moisture, and veggis and meat. They are smaller than any bug I've seen, even gnats and the flying bugs in my plants. I am hoping that they aren't biting or bothering my tutles. If you have any possible ideas please let me know. Thank you.

What you may...may have are springtails. Look them up online to see if that's what is bugging your turtles. If it is springtails then they are probably helping your pets by doing some cleanup work, if you know what I mean. I have them in my vermi-composing worm bins and they help the decomposing process.

Thank you for your input. I am looking into that. I don't have a microscope to examine them closely, and am hoping to borrow one soon. I am baffled, though, because springtails supposedly hop around and these ones wont hop for anything. But if I found out for sure I will post it. Again thank you.
