I live in CO and I was doing some laundry one night and I saw something crawl underneath some clothes. I lifted up the clothes and found this black spider with thick legs and a white smile on it's back that looked like . We have black widows in our house along with brown recluses because we live in the country, but this didn't look like it was one.

When I first saw it, it looked like a baby scropion that lost its tail because the front two legs looked like they could be pinchers, it had a fat body not longated about 2mm radius and head about 1mm radius.

I tried to attach a pic but my phone wont send it to anything, sorry. hopefully this is enough description.
I didn't kill it but maybe I should have? I just let it be because it wasn't attacking me plus I am too scared to get close to it, just looking for some help identifying it.
