I was just wondering if the show will be willing to do a father's day episode? My husband is obsessed bikes. He young and a truck driver who goes out a lot and having a bike from american chopper would rock his world upside down. He does so much for his family that he deserve it.

I am sure they would be glad to do one. Cut them a check for $100,000 and they'll jump right on it.

Even the FANtasy bikes weren't free. Discovery paid $60K for each bike to OCC.

It's really not much more than what some of the production bikes are in price.

What mass produced bikes approach that price? My perspective is you can buy two top of the line 3/4 ton pick up trucks for that price. For $10,000 you can get a ZX 10 or an R1 or a CBR1000. Not choppers but incredibly engineered machines. Or you can spend a bit more for a Ducati a Harley or a Gold Wing or a BMW. I think you could still come in way under $60,000 with those bikes.

Which is fine for people who want to buy, or can only afford a mass-produced bike. Even though OCC has a production line of bikes, they're still not mass-produced.

Production bike = mass-produced. Doesn't matter the production run. Its either a production bike or a one-of or limited edition.

Mass produced is done on an assembly line, not one by one. I work for a company that produces fly fishing products. The products are not mass produced, but done in small batches at a time, then sold around the world

There are no assembly lines, or automated machinery like you would find in say the Ford factory, but it's still a product. Just because the word product appears with somehting manufactured does not neccesarily equate to mass produced.
