How about Time Warping a baton twirler? If you think it is easy try it sometime. Get a champion twirler and warp the hand and finger work. It is amazing to watch in real time, so it would be awesome to see it warped.

Jeff you should have mod_ivy start a thread to list show ideas that have been done and or a list for ideas that will be done in the future. Put a sticky on it to keep it on top and closed to comments. Strictly read only and update it after each show premiere. Keep it a simple list format with no explanations so it's easy and fast to check. It would be very informative to see what's been done and exciting to know what's coming up. Lastly, I would like to thank you, Jeff, for making an appearance in the forum. It really does make a difference to us posters to know that the host really is out there.

Hi Jeff and Matt!

I was wondering if you would be interested in coming to the Arisia science fiction convention in January ( http://www.arisia.org) at the Waltham Westin hotel and doing a demo and/or arranging to "warp" things. I just suggested this to the convention brainstorming email list, so you might well get contacted by one of the Programming or Events division heads (program AT arisia, events AT arisia).

I should note that Arisia is a volunteer-run convention that just about covers its expenses every year, so at most you could expect a dozen or so comped memberships (admissions) but we really can't afford to pay you.

Best,
Rachel Sommer
former Arisia events divhead, current kibitzer, and occasional program panelist

Yeah, Ultra Slo-Mo in HiDef on a big screen. WHOA!
I sure hope you guys do the disc golf idea cause I pretty much have reached the limits on my drives. I need to know whats really going on. I can't fully understand the mechanics no matter how many excellent players I watch or how much I practice. I need to see it in ultra slo-mo. You guys would make a killing selling that show on dvd whether its HiDef or not. You mark my words right here right now. If you guys do a show on disc golf, in a few years time, that dvd will out sell all the other shows maybe even combined.

i just watched the episode when they were firing the rifle at the body armor. the announcer said the name of the rifle wrong. its pronounced thirty odd six not three o six. i thought being a science channel would get it facts wrong.
