I cannot watch this host cringe and whine like a little girl everytime he touches something. I think he is endangering the workers by his antics.

You wrote the Truth!!! I WOILD LOVE this show! Except for Pansey Forester. I can not express enough disdane for Discovery, they are respondsible for letting,. .letting. . a waste of space like that no-caluss having whiny AND STRAIGHT UP WRONG person on the show.

WHERE ARE THE CONSULTANTS TO GIVE HIM A DECENT SCRIPT !!!!

WHY THE CHEAPNESS IN PRODUCTION??? CONSULTANTS ARE THAT EXPENSIVE, FIND AN EX-CONTRACTOR INJURED VET. WHO HAS GOVERNMNT ASSISTANCE AND OTHER FREE TRAVEL AND MEALS !!!! DANNY OBVIOUSLY CAN'T HELP BEING A METRO-WEAK-WEENY. HE HAS NOT BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYTHING BUT SOFT CLEAN BOOKS. but discovery should not let him hang himself, for christ's sake. IN THE PROCESS A GREAT SHOW IS A COMPLETE FLOP.

DISCOVERY HAS NO EXCUSE!!! OUT OF ALL THE SITES THEY HAVE BEEN ON I'D BET MY LIFE THEY COULD HAVE SAID 'YES' TO THE NUMEROUS OFFERS AND SUGGESTIONS FOR HELP, THAT DISCOVERY RECEIVED FROM ON-SITE TRADES-PEOPLE WORKING ON THE PROJECTS THAT WHERE COVERED ON THIS SHOW.

WHAT HAS TO BE SAID TO GET PEOPLE AT DISCOVERY TO DO THEIR JOBS!! I WOULD LIKE TO HIRE DANNY FOR JUST ONE OF THE PROJECTS I'VE DONE SO AT LEAST HE MIGHT GET A CLUE. HE IS TOO SOFT TO MAKE IT THROUGH ANY OF THOSE JOBS AND WHEN DIDN'T SEE OTHERS 'CRYING' HE MAY GAIN A LITTLE 'HARDNESS'. THIS WOULD LET HIM ACCURATLY COMMUNICATE WITH THOSE THAT WOULD BE WATCHING THIS SHOW IF WE COULD HANDLE HIM.

This show has AMAZING POTENTIAL! I am not kidding, not a bit.

Danny is to soft. Nothing fixes that except some experience in the blue collar/skilled trades world. For him to salage any respect he MUST,. . . . . be so much more like the contractors he tries to interact with. This can only be done thru months and years of work in the trades, and the self realization expresed on air to us that he has learned the difference between what HE is in 2007 and what his featured workers are in 2007. Yes, you can NOT fake caluses on your hands, everytime someone shakes hands with Danny they can feel his 'softness' his 'inexperience' his frankly, ... his 'weakness'

ONCE AGAIN ITS NOT DANNY'S FAULT. ITS DISCOVERY'S FAULT FOR WRECKING WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A LANDSLIDE SHOW.

ANY OF US WOULD WELCOME A WOMAN IN PLACE OF DANNY, DON'T WANT TO BE SEXIST, BUT ITS HUMAN NATURE AND OUR UPBRINGING FROM HOME. First of all, I think you're missing the point of the show. BiB is not JUST for people who have years of experience in construction, architecture, and/or engineering..it is also for people who have no experience or background knowledge concerning any of those things. Danny is a the perfect host for this show, combining his personality with his desire to learn more about these great projects. BiB would have no appeal for people like myself if the host simply dictated step by step directions in a how to manner concerning each project. Instead, as I watch the show, I am entertained to see someone who has an honest love for learning how things work, how their built, and every detail of every project taking in the information right along with me. Just because you have experience in this field does not mean that you can't learn something from the show. Danny isn't supposed to be playing a teaching role, he's adding to his own knoweledge bank right along with the audience.
Second of all, it's pretty rare to see someone facing a huge fear regularly for the sake of learning more about something they love. Hats off to him for that. His desire to be a part of these projects overriding his fear of heights isn't something people should laugh at, but something they should admire.
Third of all, if you're going to bash a successful and intelligent person, you should probably have someone proofread your statement...your grammer and spelling is horrible.

yes it seems petty, but i also can't stand to watch that grown man act like a kid bouncing around every jobsite!!! and he isn't funny, maybe if the host was a female model then those jokes and one liners would be laugh rather than cringe.
