Years ago Discovery was a great channel, now I can bearly stand to turn it on. SOME of the shows you play might be really good if it wern't for the hosts that are selected. If Discovery funds the Producers, maybe you better have a stronger hand in the decision making of hosts. You seem to hire grunts and dorks now. What happened to the quality of hosts like Patrick Stewart or Matt Lauer? Seems like your investing lots of dollars in a show series. You might want to go all the way to keep it on the air by employing quality host. Whatever you do, DO NOT CHANGE THE QUALITY ON THE SCIENCE CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny is an excellent host id of BIB! He is genuinely pleasurable with his geeky, yet sociable, approach. I particularly like the idea of him being “just a guy” and not the typically overtly intense and macho-ridden male television personality.

It seems to me, any show worth carrying it's own weight, would have a HOST that "knows" what is happening within it's own "JUNCTURE", such as "Dirty Jobs", like "MIKE ROWE", who knows he's getting into territory that he' is unfamiliar with. But Mike knows that, and he is also flexible enough to accommodate his hosts, cameramen and maintain his own integrity and show. but there is a lot of laggards and hangers-on, but that is another story that cannot be told here
