I am so sick and tired of hearing everyone whining about this show. Here is the fact ... Danny is the host. No matter how much you complain about Danny "acting like a child" the simple truth is that all of you are acting more like children than he does.

So he is afraid of heights, he drives a toyota, he wears jeans, he is not an iron worker blah blah blah!!!

Although I guess that I can see how it is easy to pass judgement on someone who is continually a part of something bigger than any of you will ever be. I hope that it makes you feel good about yourselves when you pray on the insecurities of others. Do you also go to the local parks and knock the ice creams out of little kids hands too?

The fact of the matter is Danny is inspiring, smart, witty , and although there is a certain hesitation behind his actions, he is a doer. If you do not like that oh well, get over and most of all SHUT UP!!! This is a FAN site for the show and for Danny and if you are not a fan you do not need to post here.

Well said, krissiemoto. I do not know Danny personally, but I do know someone who works with him. He is a real person, like me. I can't drive a nail either. I think Discovery made a good choice in having him be the host.

Danny is an excellent host! He is genuinely pleasurable with his geeky, yet sociable, approach. I particularly like the idea of him being “just a guy” and not the typically overtly intense and macho-ridden male television personality.
