I think the show is fun and informative and Danny's not too bad but there is one thing he does that i find totally unbearable and inconciderate to the workers that he is filming and all it is is the word 'we'
"WE finished the last loop.." "Were building the biggest cruise ship." "WE just broke the record for rings built in a shift."
I'm a ironworker in the NYC area and i can attest for many of the people that i work with that if they heard him saying that while filming us might push him off the steel. Your taking their accomplishment and putting yourself in there. YOU DID NOTHING BUT GET IN THE WAY. You should put the recognition where it belongs with the people that actually did the work. Is it really that hard to say THEY did the work, is your self esteem that low that you have to cling on to there accomplishments? Give the credit to the people that deserve it and dont try to hitch yourself onto there wagon. Sorry for the rant but seriously Danny get with it your filming and explaining thats it, if anything all your doing is making their job harder.

Well than I am glad that Danny is working with real workers who willing to let someone feel like part of the team and who treat him so. Sure there is a certain amount of ribbing, if you will, but I see that as another way of making him feel welcome on the job site.

Nobody should lose sight of the fact that this show, like all of them, are entertainment. Sure, they do a great job educating and giving steelworkers and other construction folk some great publicity -- but if the show wasn't compelling then people wouldn't come back to watch again, Todd, I'm sure that when Danny uses the "we" pronoun he's not taking away from the guys who do the real work, just commenting on the fact that while he's on a site he is usually meant to feel like a part of the team... and that's how the viewer is supposed to feel by extension. He's not taking credit for your work.
