Hi,

Danny seems to be a nice guy, but it ends there. For someone who graduated with a construction/engineering degree he sure doesn't know much about anything? Have you ever considered getting an older person to host the show? Life experience, as well as on the job experience would make the show much more appealing. I don't wish to bad mouth Danny, but he is a wuss! His lack of knowledge, coupled with his fear of everything!, along with little to no experience, all combine to make a great show only lackluster at best? Sorry Danny, it's not personal, but you have to go! By the way where did he go to school, I don't want to send my son's there! For a guy with an engineering degree, Danny is pretty stupid?

If it was the Discovery Channel's intent to hire a bumbling fool, and coward, as host of this show, you've succeeded brilliantly! If this was not your intention, then you have much work to do.

Sorry guys, My Mom raised me to NEVER LIE, therefore this is very honest feedback. I truly don't wish to harm Danny; but I do wish to maximize my viewing pleasure of this, and all of the programs I enjoy watching.

Please make some changes! and do them soon!

Thanks for listening,

Completely disagree. Danny adds a lot to the show.

I like guys like Mike Rowe, but wouldn't want to see him (or a Rowe clone) hosting every show on Discovery. Danny brings an "everyman" approach to the show that is refreshing and entertaining.

I really dislike Danny. I'm sure he's a nice person, but this show has no room for a girl. I saw he acts like a dork sometimes. I just want someone to narrate the show vs. having a host. Like the "old" extreme engineering show before Danny took that over the spoiled it. Danny spends too much time talking to employees about their "feelings" instead of the project itself. If I cared about the employee and how he/she feels, I'd watch Opera.

You are not bad mouthing danny Roll Eyes, let me tell you are quite doing it completely. Danny its a cool guy(so back away a little bit), I personally like the show so therefore I watch it almost everytime. He brings a lot to the show, the way he host the show, is fantastic. He makes you wanna stay tuned until the end of the show, to find out how the projects takes form and shape. Now lets talk about the fear of everything, a lot of people are afraid of heights, including me. That doesnt' make me a wuss at all. IF I would had been like danny thousands of feet up in the air, like he was on the episode on the tallest building in shang ghai, I will be afraid as well. That's a universal feeling being afraid of height, needles, insects all kinds of phobias. That's what makes us hummans.

There was a poll done over the internet about human fear.
* fear of heights: 13% (men) versus 32%(woman).

Well, he has to talked to the employees that kindda the part of talking about the projects literally. What's is the best way to know the project, let me tell you is speaking with the employees because so that they are the bases of the fonudation of the project, not the person who has drawn the building. For example: one could speak with the president of a any kind company , but that does not present much to you, simply cause its only a fraction part of image of its company. But across engaging in a dialog with the employees it represents the other side of the project(meaning both sides of the story completes the picture). The empolyees are the people that makes company around the globe great and succesful business. On a buiding project the workers "the employees" are very much involved in the building process, they know how they built it, how they layed brick after brick becoming a wall, how they put their ideas to work to make a pilar or making an elevator shaft.

Bottom line, the architect will not be suffise, to know let anyone know the project, they might tell you how they came up with the idea of the design of the building. But it doesn't let us know how a project was taken to the next level, meaning how they are built.

I don't like the idea, or practice, of calling Danny names. Granted, he wouldn't be my first (or 200th) choice to host a great show like 'Build it Bigger', but the name calling is over the top.
The show is great. I watch every episode for as long as I can. Usually I change the channel when Danny is having trouble climbing a ladder, working in a confined space or trying his hand at a trade like welding and not doing well at all.
I'm sorry but another host would make the show a lot easier to watch. Someone with the knowledge and some experience would make the show more interesting.
I hope Danny has made some good investments with the money he has been paid over the last couple of seasons. I'm not going to even turn to 'Build it Bigger' and certainly not going to buy any of the advertised products as long as he is host.
Maybe he would be better off on one of those do it yourself programs. Arts and crafts come to mind. Maybe needle point or knitting... Something that won't put him in high places or confined spaces, or operating machinery, or knowing that steel is hot after it has been cut with a torch or... You get the idea.
Sorry Danny. I would be honored to have you as a friend but hosting a show about construction is a bit much for you. Frown
