I just had a great idea. Hire Scottie Chapman as the host of Build it Bigger. She's hot, smart, funny, knows her stuff, wouldn't stick out on a job site (even though she's a woman), is an amazing welder and metal artist, and most of all - is more manly than Danny Forster.
If she's willing to do the show, I bet she'd put Build it Bigger in the top 10 of Discovery. Who doesn't want to learn from a pro, and look at a hot body at the same time?
(For those who don't know, Scottie Chapman is a former build-team member of Mythbusters, and is a metal artist in the Bay Area.)
While we're suggesting random people to be host, I suggest Elmo, the lovable red monster of Sesame Street fame. His wild gesticulating and childlike voice would really spice things up a bit. Why keep a host that's better fitted for the program when we can complain and suggest people we saw on a different show that one time?
Well since we are all nominating random people, I have to say I nominate Myself, I have a civil backround, am female and also afraid of heights, if it becomes my show I'll have guest co-hosts Elmo will definitely be on the top 10. Along with Bob Barker and Scottie Chapman. seriously folks, turn the TV off if you don't like the show, or adapt and take it for it's lightheard humor and real people whining. At least Danny will say what all of think. That is really high up! You want me to go there? I'll go there!

eschoendorff.... you think that Danny makes the show painful to watch, but you obviously watch it anyway.... c'mon man, Danny makes the show. Think about it, there's alot of Danny 'haters' on this site, yet everyone of them seems to watch the show. Hhmmmm.....I wonder why? I know if I'm watching a show, and I don't like any aspect of the host.....I DON'T WATCH IT! it's called common sense. If people on here are gonna continuously watch the show every week, even though they claim to have much dislike for the host, stop doggin' on him! I mean, seriously, you guys have nothin' better to do but complain week after week........but in the end, y'all still watch?... I'm baffled?

You have been on a crusade bashing Danny on these boards for awhile. My gut tells me that the reason you don't like Danny is that you are actually Stephen from coolworldtv.com, and you are trying to pitch YOURSELF for the show as well as using these forums to pitch your own show. I would go so far as to guess that you are also posting as Altaholic as well, as his posts carry a very similar message and writing style as yours, they are usually posted within minutes of each other, and they all carry a similar message of questioning Danny and his experience level. In some threads you even go so far as to have conversations with yourself! Bravo! I admire your attempt at subversive marketing, but your integrity is another matter altogether. You are doing this in a very dishonest way.
My biggest problem with these forums is the anonymity they provide. It really lowers the level of discourse to a level where it's difficult to have constructive conversations.
That's got to make your job a little tougher, Jason. Hope you guys find a way to "vet" your forum guests to avoid the folks who have just one topic on their mind...
