Well done whalers for not letting a bunch of incompetent hypocrites stop your perfectly legal harvesting of whales.

Japan is a sovereign nation and they and they alone decide what is experimental whaling. If Japan says it is experimental then it is legal. You can whine about it all you want, but that wont change the facts.

The SS crew is in this for themselves and to make themselves feel good. Why not protect cows or chickens or sheep? That crap about sentient beings is just another argument that makes the hypocrites feel better. It has no basis in science.

Oh yes I am so glad the whalers are fighting back, soon SS will realize what they are trying to do (and failing) is completely pointless

You are a sick person if you do not think that killing whales for human consumption is needed in the twenty first century. Haven't we done enough to harm the planet. Keep sitting on you tale, watching t.v., because obviously you are an ignorant person. Better yet go get an education so you can be enlightened about this subject. Killing whales is against international law.

Yeah, killing whales is not needed.....its a choice....like people choose to eat chicken, steak, pork or deer. You have freedom of choice, they have freedom of choice. Don't like it? too bad, your rights stop where the rights of another begins.

And uh....

care to link the international law that prohibits killing whales?

Because that would be the first ANYONE has heard of this law.

Apparently you were watching tv also...... ????? And do a little research.... It' not against any law..... You should try to know what you are talking about before starting an argument.

As the show makes very clear, the Japanese are fishing the quota that they are allowed to set. They are not breaking the law.

Thanks you for stating that only a sick person would think whaling is not needed.

Your ignorance of international law and your English and grammar skills certainly help make my case.

You could say the same thing about any meat consumption. Does that mean I will give up eating it? Hell no. Oh and the international law allows countries to set their own quota of whales for research. The surplus meat can be sold, the narrator on the show himself admitted to that!

LoL I love how all these people complain about killing whales then go eat a big burger

They're all hypocrites who say they want to save the whales so they'll feel better about themselves, they really don't care

The show also makes it clear that every whale is endangered. It must because all the hippies know this is a fact. I have missed it, but I guess I can't read between the lines like some folks can. Common sense has always been my downfall

do you really need to insult people to get your point across, eatmorewhale? Do we not have the right to protest what the whalers are doing just like everyone else? Only the desperate hurl insults to get their point across.

You don't have a case. Check your own grammatical errors before you point out mine. If you have been watching the show, there is an international ban on whaling. That is what the show is about. All you have to do is google it to find the law. What the Japanese are doing is wrong. If there was a ban on killing sheep, deer etc., I would be against that too. There is a major difference though in the quantity of those domesticated animals that are available. Whales numbers are dramatically down. Get a grip on reality.
