I am a mother of 3 grown daughters. I had 3 normal pregnancy's. However my oldest daughter had a son pass of SIDS at 7 weeks in 06, my baby daughter lost a baby girl to Turner Syndrome in her 8th month of pregnancy in 05, and my middle daughter just lost her 9 month old to SIDS 04/22/08. What are the odds of this happening twice in one family. Is there anyone who can look at the 3 autopsy's to see if there is something the pathologist overlooked that links these three babies. I clicked on the link "Ask Dr. G!" but there is nowhere to email her or ask her anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I was 19 years old when I had my beautiful baby girl, Sky. Sky was 8 weeks 5 days when she passed on Sept.15, 2007. Scientist say that if you smoke before, durning, or after your pregenacy your child has a higher rist of getting sids. I never smoked before durning or after. And my daughter died. My aunt Mae's fist child and her third child passed away from sids. Then she had a lot of problems with her 4th child Brian he had to wear a heart monitor untill he was 2 years old just because it would go off 8-10 times a night. My grandmother also had a child pass away from sids. So is there anyone out there would can answer this...does sids run in a persons family line? And if Scientist are right then can anyone tell me why Sky passes away?
