I caught a piece of one of the shows and really enjoyed it. As a new Diabetic - I am on a Low Carb diet and exercise.

In viewing the show - there were comments on carb content - which seemed low but then I do not have a basis as to judge. Is there a book that lays the basis for the show and the assumptions , conversions, and other basic facts you can get to bring yourself up to speed?

I too have just started to watch the show and also had the same questions. I wanted to see and prepare new recipe's. I am on the All-New
Atkins Advantage Diet written 1/1/2008 by Stuart Trager M.D. and I use it as a guide.
Cover's so much more than DR Atkin's had a chance to. Portion control, Step by Step Excersice, full weekly menu's, and best of all the latest science facts and why's of the Diet.
