this is tempest, she's a 1967 pontiac, i purchased for $750 and restored, it took 14 months of my father and i working all night to rebuild it. it still has the original 326 small block v-8, only has 36,000 miles (original) on the engine. since we've rebuilt it, she has been my daily driver to work and school (full time college student at ksu) everyone recognizes me, especially ith the yellow headlights.

the stereo is completely idependent and i did not cut the original stereo out, in case someone wishes to (restore to original specs). i put in (under dash) a poineer deh-p9400 head unit with 13 band equalizer and 200 watts, powering 2 pioneer 6 1/2"s and 2 pioneer 4"s. but where this car really hits is bass i have a total of 6 15" kicker L7 subwoofers, 4 in a custom bandpass box, and 2 in custom sealed boxes. and 2 boss monoblock amplifiers at 4000 watts a peice. and 1 orion 2 channel amplifier powering the sealed boxes, i have 2 batteries rated at 1000 amps a peice and 2 high output alternators, and finally to not bottom out on energy 6 100,000 microfarad capacitors. the best part of this whole project has been that i didnt even have to stuff all of this stuff in, the trunk is huge!

the funniest thing about driving this car, is since the movie XXX, tempest has been a little feared of having rocket launchers behind the headlights (just because they are yellow) Wink
