I've always wanted one of these oddities and recently found this beauty. It's been rebuilt the way that VW should have built them, with a GTI interior, warmed over turbodiesel engine and a 5-speed. It won Best Rabbit at the last show of the season here. This winter, I'm planning a better (larger displacement) diesel with an intercooler.
