This is my 1977 Trans AM "Smokey and the Bandit Special Edition". This 1977 Trans AM was restored by "Chip" Raymond Farr in LA. I purchased it from Chip a few years ago and now enjoy driving it on nice sunny / overcast days. The interior was completely restored using the 1977 original upolstry on the roll found in Pontiac MI. The Dash was sent out to Just Dashes In CA and restored. The engine is a Pontiac 400 ci 6.6 Litre Hurst manual 4 speed with a Comp Cam with a dyno rating of 350 HP at 5200 RPMs. This Bandit really halls... I was 17 and working at the indoor theater when the movie Smokey and the Bandit came out. I must have watched that movie 50 times at the theater I worked at. Since then I've always wanted a 1977 Trans AM Smokey and the Bandit Special Edition. Well, I finally have one. It was worth the wait...
