Here is my '73 GTO. Not popular in its day, only 4,806 were made--the fewest of the 11-year run of the Goat. I reason I sought out this rare and often-unappreciated car is that my older bro had one like it in high school and I "borrowed" it a lot. Now, I loan mine to him!
I bought it in California in 2001 and drove it all the way back to Memphis. Here is the link to the entire story, told in (naturally) 73 pages!
The attached pic is my wife in her groovy red Converse shoes during a "poker run" last year.
My buddies and I have pulled and completely redone the 400CID engine in a serious way. The car has AC, Honeycomb wheels, TH400 tranny, and an all-original interior. I call it "My Time Machine".
