Question:
I am a Monte Carlo´s fan, 83-88 models are my favorite car. In August 2003 i found in a junk yard a 1983 MC SS, only 4,713 were made, for only $ 300.00 the car was mine.

The car was running well and no signs of crash, but fiberglass nose was completely cracked and tons of dust, grease, ugly primer finished, deteriorated interiors etc was in the car.

Always i want to restore a car, this was my oportunity, i check the engine 305 HO compression that give me 110, not bad for an 83, other parts like tranny, hood, left door, gauges (except tach), rear seats, rear glass, and many more was replaced. You may think that the work was very expensive, but wasn´t. I buy another 86 MC LS for 500.00, you can imagine the beneficial thing to be able to have parts, even I could sell parts to recover my money and buy other parts.

Choices:
Blue or White.... That is the question
