at school everyone keeps being like horseback ridding is not a sport and i try to explain to them that it is and then wer had a debate in english and i won and every one is sdtill like it is not a sport it makes me so mad:0
I no what you mean! Everyone at my school says it is not a sport also. They also say it is the easiest sport ever, they say all u do is sit on the horse and he does the rest. I tried to tell them that if that is all you had to do than everyone would be trying it in the olympics! And if it wasnt a sport y is it in the olympics, all the other sports are in the olympics!
thatt is exactly wat i said and everyone was like it is so easy bla blah blah and i was like fine come to my barn get on a horse and try to jump a course with out cracking your head open and then we will talk
everyone at my school says 'the horse does all the work and you just sit there' those are the people i really want to take to the stables! Horseback riding is a real sport with real athletes! In a sport where your partner is a thousand pound animal with a mind of it's own... anything can go wrong and you have to think quickly. If you don't know where you want to go the horse will decide for you. I just get so mad when people say that!
Every one in my school says that too! I have a 7 year old off the track throughbred, and i told my friends and all the non-believers to come over to my house and they did. and i let them ride my horse. when they got off my physco, well the people who werent scared, they regreted what they said! My horse takes off with everyone! And they relized that its not just the horse doing everything! its a partnership!
i can not stand when people say this. one of my barns has all nuts horses from auctions and they roll on people and rear and flip over on others. i videotaped a show there and my friends all regretted what they said about riding being easy. if it isnt then how do we get saddle sores?
say that their sport is ridiculously easy too. If they play football, say that their not doing anything, it's the team and even if they do something, it's just running into someone. It's not that hard. If they ski, say it's not that hard, it's just gravity pulling you down the hill. None of this is true, obviously, but what their saying isn't true either so who cares?
