We filmed our show TSF show in Dec 03, and it aired March 04.I was wondering how many people have actually kept their rooms the same.

As much fun as we had doing the show, our family circumstances changed by the time the show aired. We adopted three (3) children and needed to use the bonus room as an extra bedroom. We had to take down the bar. The TV stand had fallen off two days later (we later sold the stand at a garage sale). The slip cover (kept slipping off the couch!) was thrown away. The curtains kept falling off (threw them away too) and now we are left with black baseboards, doors, vertical blinds as well as orange walls and peach ceiling. The rope light effect is still nice. Everything else...gone! We gave the bar stools to our neighbor who did the show with us. They gave us the denim cubes that Christy put in their boys room.

All in all, no complains because it was a wonderful experience. But I wonder how many rooms are still the same?

Would love to hear other people's stories!

By the way Mo just got back from Irak after a 14 months tour of duty. We are all happy! Wink

We filmed shortly after you, Bramblebush (Jan '04). We haven't changed anything major. I have killed the cacti that were on our coffee table -- well, all but one. And, my then-two-year-old had tons of fun destroying the dry arrangement that was on a tray on our ottoman.
We still have the sand and deer on the walls. The curtains are still the same although I would like to change them so they keep out more sun and enable me to open them.
I don't foresee changing the room for a long time to come. It's just perfect for us.

I'm glad to hear Mo made it home safe and sound.

Mo is home! I am so happy to hear that!! What a great thread, I hope more home owners respond. We have kept everything the same in our room except for the furniture arrangement. We moved it around a little bit because our dog would sit on the futon and bark out our front window. We still have orange blinds, chili pepper drapery panels and styrofoam saguaro cacti on the wall. Oh, yeah, the unfortunate event of our cacti garden's death. I guess the desert dwellers can't take care of a cactus.

How are the children adjusting to their new life with you bramble - bush? How are you adjusting? What an amazing story. I think TSF should caome back and design a kid's suite for your family!

Hi - We taped in March 04, aired Jun 04. We were on TSF. My daughter still loves her room. Christi Proctor did a great Pink and Purple room and added a small wall for her computer/vanity. I added a desk that I painted to match the room. My neighbor had the dance floor/bed and she changed the whole thing. Laura Day did her room. It wasn't too functional since she didn't bring in her computer or stereo! Dance floor bed and no stereo? The only thing that stayed was the paint color. We had lots of fun. It was a dream come true for the wonderful experience.

If it wasn't because we needed the extra room...it would have stayed pretty much the same with a few exceptions.

Mo is doing great and his family is enjoying having him at home.

Our children are adopting really well. We are really blessed and life has definitely changed! Our niece (who was in the show)is gone to college. We still talk a lot about our experience with TSF.

We will never forget it! We still run into people in our school district (where we work) that recognize us from the show. And we still have lots of friends that introduce us as the "people that were on TSF".

Definitely a lot of fun!
