I was wondering if the homeowners who had Hildi on the recent episode where she built the table...in the official tape did it show more of Hildi when she was building or was it edited just like what was on TV?

I'm the homeowner that Hildi built the table for. I was told that Hildi has wonderful carpentry skills but I'd bet my last dollor that Faber and the production assistants did most of the work. No matter who built it, it sure is beautiful

You are the other W-S H.O. aren't you? Well, quite to the contrary, I came by your house to ask production staff about a missing pic from my house (turned up months later post-episode...long story), and I saw Hildi out in the frosty air sawing away. From what I hear, her carpentry skills are pretty good. What did you think?

Clearly she was hard at work so I didn't interrupt (we worked with Faber and Edward earlier in the week, Gen and Carter worked at our house...so I had never seen her in person before), but she smiled at me and kept on going. She is really beautiful in person. There was no carpenter for her in that episode. Edward (who is SO, SO nice...I can't say enough positive things about him) had told me that Hildi was going to do all of the carpentry herself and also praised her carpentry skills. My experience (this is a bit off-topic now) is that the carpenters and designers were the nicest people on the set.
