I'm possibly going to be on the show (I've been asked to supply a release form to my landlord).
I've never actually seen the show (I don't have cable).
I want to redo my sister's place (which is already pretty - I want to make it more functional)- but I'm scared of them doing something scary/tacky/ugly, and not having any say. I have my ideas of what I want to do, what don't want to be in conflict (and tears) on national TV.
Can you say to the designer "no, no fur covered walls", or when you sign up, do you have to pretty much go with what they want?
