Does anyone know how many phone interviews they conduct before narrowing the field down to the groups that will receive the scouting visit? We have had a phone interview for the shows that will be taped in Tampa, Florida and I wanted to know what our chances from this point are.

We had just one phone interview and then a few weeks later given a date for the location scout interview. The scout interviews you on camera, measures every nook and cranny of the room as well as furniture, etc. Also takes still pictures and hand draws the room layout.

From there all of that documentation is taken back to Banyan and then the decision is made to accept or reject the ho's..

Thanks for all the helpful info. We just received notification that they will be out next week for the scout interview. I am sooo excited. Hopefully we will make a good enough impression and be chosen to do the show. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Well good luck, be calm, be yourself and try not to have exceptions in your room (i.e. don't touch the fan, that table, etc.) Keep us informed!!!
