We got a call last Tuesday to resubmit an application for the show. We did that and are now waiting for a call to see if we made it to the next level. Can anyone give info. on the time frame of the selection process. We 1st(December) sent an application on-line and via snail mail w/ our in-laws as a team. However they live 2 miles away-so TS called(January) and said to resubmit w/a next door neighbor. As I said we just did that~so now we are anxiously waiting. Any tips or advice???

I doubt if they will work in Philadelphia during the winter. When the crew left NJ last October they said they were heading to Delaware and then across the southern part of the country where it was warmer. Its too hard for the carpenters and crew to work outside when the weather is cold or snowy. So I'd guess you have at least until spring before they would come back to film in Philly.
Hope you make it!!

I responded to you on my thread "We had a great experience" (or something like that) The time frame for us seems to have been somewhat quicker than what I've read for some other h.o.s. From application to finding out we were chosen was just less than 1 mo. I can tell you in all of our e-mails w/ Cindy (I don't know which researcher you're working w/) we tried to "sound" as excited and grateful as possible. ie We're so excited for TS to come to Tucson! We can't wait to meet the crew! Thank you for considering us. etc. We had a lot of contact w/ Cindy, too, so she would remember us. If you get a call about the phone interview just try to let your personality come across. If they think you're too quiet or kind of blah about the whole thing they're probably not going to bother sending the scout to see you. On the other hand, you don't want to come across as acting or fake, kwim? Let us know if you get the call for the phone interview.
Good luck,
Mindy

WHEW! Well the phone interview is over, I think it went well but only time will tell if they come up for a site scout. Since they said the scouting would be late Feb, We should know shortly. Because we (both teams) are in row homes in center city Allentown, it may hurt our chances because of space. But we will see. I look at it this way, I did not expect to get this far but we did.
