what could be the cause of death of a3 month old who had blood and mucus coming out of his nose and died. I heard many differnt things it could have been, maybe someone out there has experienced the same thing
Blood coming from the mouth or nose is a definate indicator of head trauma. Hope you find the information you are looking for. A head injury suppresses the respiratory system leading to SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome)

Getting back to the 3mo old. She said blood and mucous coming out of the nose, I didn't see any mention of ears. I would think that a respiratory problem would be much more likely than any kind of head trauma. The blood could have been coming from the lungs. Also in SIDS there are usually no external symptoms at all.
My experience as a funeral director, Anything coming from the ears and nose are very common with head trama and the break in the circle of willis arteries of the head. These are classic symptoms of what happens with a head trama case.
