I believe the software Jason uses is SolidWorks.

You can create the solid models with SolidWorks, and that is indeed what Jason uses. (They even created a special SolidWorks bike). I believe that in order to generate the stylish models such as they create with the wheels, fenders, etc... you would have to purchase an add-on to SolidWorks that I am not familiar with. On the show, I’ve seen Jason using a special ‘pen’ that he uses to draw directly on his screen – this isn’t something that comes with the standard SolidWorks package. However, to be used by the CNC machines, you usually have to export an IGES file from SolidWorks to be interpreted by the CNC software to generate the tool path. I believe each make of CNC machine has its own proprietary software that does this tool path generation.
