i don't know about you but I saw the transportor 3 the other night and thought that a good thing to test would be the seen on witch frank blows up a bag underwater from his car tire and breathes through it.This bag was more like a duffle bag that zippered down the front.it was the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Learn the truth about the Flipping Motorcycle!

Hello, i'm a first time writer, but definitely not a first time viewer of Mythbusters.
I love the show, and watch it any time i am taking some time to relax. I have alwys understood that it's impossible to be completely and completely correct and to always please everyone. This is where i tell you about the major problem that i have with a certain myth busting. i just finished watching the episode featuring the indiana motorcycle flip myth. i would like to see this re-done with some rigidity in buster's arms. The thing about this myth and it's inaccurate bust, is that: when a motorcycle's front tire is stopped, all the weight/momentum of the bike and rider do not stop as abruptly as the front tire, and continue forward. as an avid cyclist of all types (mostly motocross), i have to advocate the reality of this myth. i have been on the recieving end of this mythical 'flip'. so as the momentum of the rider is thrust forward, the rider will keep thier arms rigid and strong. this resistance to the negative acceleration is what causes the motorcycle to flip over. with 'soft' arms like those of buster, you are creating zero force downward/forward on the front suspension of the bike. when the arms are stiff or 'hard', they apply force on the forks and cause them to bottom out, in turn producing a flipping motion. i know this forum entry is long and may seem boring to some, but those that are interested in truth about this myth or have experienced it should come out with a good explanation for adam and jamie so that we can see this one re-done.

Dear mythbuster,
I was talking with my buddies about many different myths on how to break in to a car and one of my buddies told me all you need is a tennis ball and a thats it. the thing you do with the tennis ball is burn about a dime size hole in it, then you put the tennis ball w/ the hole onto the keyhole of the car and then you hit the ball torwards the keyhole causing the keyhole mechanism to forcefully open and then your in. Myth or Bust? you decide........

I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End and there is a scene where Jack Sparrow Ties a rope to a cannon ball and shoots him onto the Black Pearl and away from Beckett. Can a human really be tossed like this, or is it just hollywood mumble jumble. Please let me know.

My Question is concerning the film 'johnny english'. In the film, in a scene in which the main character is locked in a room, he attempts to use sound, pitched at just the right note, to unlock the mechanism on the door, now, in the film this doesn't work, however, is it posible to unlock a door with sound or indeed any amount of vibration?

Another query i have is about the 'sharks afraid of dolphins' myth. its interesting to note that recently, at Moreton Island off the coast of Queensland, Austrailia, an injured dolphin appeared on shore, with injuries sufficient of those caused by a shark, in addition to this, id like to see how sharks would usually react to other unknown sharks in order to rule out or rule in the dolphins shape or smell as a detterant.

I was watching Lady in the water, and saw the part where the led guy has to get a healing mud out of the swimming pool, now I know all that is just silly, but as he runs out of air, he sees a glass turn upside down holding air underwater I know that is easily done, but he takes a part a pin in sucks one last breath of air......can that be done ?

No you cannot curve a bullet because modern ballistic weapons are designed to spin the bullet which stops any chenge in the bullet's flight path. It is completely impossible.

in the movies you see people save others from a car by diving out of the cars way. is it faster to dive out of the way of a moving vehicle or to just keep running. can test two ways 1. by yourself or 2. trying to save someone by diving or just running.

thanks

In the movie wanted you see angolina joli dodging
a bullet with her gun. now i don't think this
should be possible because i think it should go
right through the gun, and throw the gun out of her hand. just a thought.

i have a really great myth to try. what if you filled 100 2 litter bottles with dry-ice and put it under water. would it make the water rise about 200 ft in the air, or would it just release it all under water and not make much of an explosion?

also could you put a fire cracker at the end of a whip and make it explode?
