Hi Guy's I just finished watching episode 7x10 Sonic Boom Curving Bullets.
I am a retired officer from a county police department in the state of Maryland, Prince George's County. On occasion I have (during hunting season) loaded my own bullets and experimented with different load grains.
My point is the loads you're using are to high. If you lowered the grain power from the bullet, it would leave the muzzle at a much slower velocity therefore causing any motion from the weapon/barrel to be greatly exaggerated on target. No other alterations need to be made just lower the grain. Hopefully you can try this method on one of the Myths Revisited programs.
Even with my experience and training I would never try this at the range or in the woods so I leave it to you.

Yea I was watching Tremors 4: The Legend Begins and I got to the part were Black hand Kelly played by Billy Brago where he was just introduced. This guy shot a log off the wall and then shot it three more times. Does anyone think that The Mythbusters can recreate this shot.

ok, i dont know if any of you have seen the new fast and furious movie but in one scene one of the characters took out a shot gun while being chased by many other cars and shot at the wheels of the cars chasing him. This made the cars chasing him go flying in the air supposedly from the shot bursting the wheel and all the compressed air in the wheel lifting the car up. There are 3 things to test in this myth.
1. Can you shoot a shotgun while driving and still maintain the control of the car while hitting your target( I'm guessing the the shot gun was a 12 gauge)
2. Can the compressed air from a wheel lift up a STREET RACING CAR. A street racing car most likly weighs more from possibly a bigger engine block.
3. Can a 12 gauge shot gun shot correctly puncture a wheel of a moving car ( my best guess would be yes, i have shot a 12 gauge so i know its capabilities)

I like your show and i wanna be an engineer myself, but until that happens im counting on you guys to tast this myth. Goodluck!

can u actually cut a bullet in half while its traveling in the air and hit two people standing behind like in x-men origins wolvorine

can u make two bullets crash together then they just fall to the ground like in wanted

I have something I would like Mythbusters to test. In Tremors 2 when all the screachers are in the main storage building they start to feed. They are heatseekers so the main character decides for his friends to cover him in Co2 from a Fire Extinguisher. He wears all denimn and leather gloves. He has a denimn jacket over his head just enough for him to see. He does this so he can go inside the storage building filled with heatseekers whom are all exposing heat so he can set a bomb. Can someone ACTUALLY do that? Or will they melt before time? And would someone be able to handle being coverd in Co2?

here is one for the mythbusters to try in a movie i saw (jean claude van dam or steven segal)he drives a car off a quay side the car skimmes on the surface then drives up the boat ramp on the other side.

In the movie, Kill Bill, Beatrice Kiddo cut a Samurai sword into pieces using a sword of superior quality. It this possible? Is the feat possible when the inferior sword is held in the hand (as it was in the movie)?

hello, i have a myth i have been wondering about since the movie Shoot em up hsa come out, no, its not one about falling from the plane, bullets in the fire or the carrot killing one...mine is, in one scene the hero of the movie and the bad guys are driving straight at eachother and the hero decides to shoot out his front windshield and the badguys front windshield, they get closer and closer until they both hit the brakes and he flies through into the badguys van landing behind them, (there are about 6+ people in the badguy van with guns) he lands on he stomach, rolls over turns around and shoots everyone in the van without reloading and b4 they can get 1 shot off on him, i would like to know if this is something that could be done...thank you for your time and im sorry for such a long post...
