I'd like to propose some Myths from one of the most successful animated TV-Shows ever: the Simpsons.
1: In Episode 18x01 "The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and her Homer" Fat Toni uses a ringbinder to slash the tires of a car chasing him. Are those little "spikes" really strong enough to penetrate tires?
2: In Episode 18x12 "Little big girl" Bart builds a kind of rocket car by attaching six fire extinguishers to a cart. Does this really produce enough propulsion to push a ten year old driver forward and extinguish nearby fires as well?
3: In Episode 18x15 "Rome-Old and Juli-Eh" Bart and Lisa build a castle out of cardboard-boxes and get attacked by an army of delivery service men. Is it possible to build such a castle and shoot cardboard-arrows from cardboard-bows into the cardboard-castle? Maybe some of it is possible with pykrete.
P.S.: sorry for my bad english - I am from germany |

As for your idea, I was also thinking the mythbusters should do some Simpsons myths, so they'd have a reason to do a couch gag. |

Registered: 06-01-09 | I also wanna know about the bug zapper. I wanted to try it on my own, but that is just too crule to the fish. I think people would be a little mad if i did it too. |

If you were paying attention, Homer didn't make it. The ramp did not give him enough velocity to make it over the gorge. |

Registered: 11-22-07 | It's possible, since Bart weighed less than Homer, but there are some variables to this. |

the secong myth would be very interesting to test. for starters, it would depend of what the cart is made of to be light enough. this would make a fine episode |

How do you know the numbers of these episodes? Anyway, that first idea is cool, but the rings seam to close together and the gap is too small to bite into the tires. |
