Why no mention by the production team (even in the "how we got this shot" video diary) that the seal (in several of the shots - not the glancing blow where the seal lands on the shark's back - that is a real seal) that the great white attacks in the Shallow Seas episode is fake? I own the Blu-Ray version of the series, and it is CLEAR AS DAY (you can even see the monofilament line that attaches to the boat).

It's completely understandable - it would be nearly impossible to be in the right spot at the right time (they only had one 20' boat and one hi-def camera...they are all-too-willing to mention this in the diary) - I was just peeved that they didn't say "after 3 weeks of filming and only getting partial shots, or shots from great distance, we came up with a plan to use a fake seal and entice the shark to attack that".
